BEFORE you ask ANY questions regarding training..

Tuesday evenings from 6pm (mainly strength training & conditioning)
Thursday evenings from 6pm (parkour)
Saturdays from around 10:30am (parkour)

The usual meeting spot is near the Spar shop on Sackville Street. You'll find a map here

In wet weather, we meet at either the Business School, or at an undercover spot at the back of Piccadilly train station. This is located at the back entrance to Piccadilly Metrolink stop, just by the Taxi rank.

Everyone is welcome to come along to any of the sessions whether you have previous parkour experience or not.

For those of you who have been asking about where you can purchase a Northern Parkour T-shirt or hoodie, here's the link: NP T Shirts

Read all that ^

We are STILL training, and will probably be for many years to come.
ANYONE can come.
It is FREE.
You DON'T need any previous training.
Your AGE doesn't matter.
We WILL be out if it RAINS, we will be out in ALL weathers.

Very helpful. Stickied.

In response to the queries about whether people are still training, we must remember to be fair. The Saturday session has only been running without break for four and a half years and the Tuesday and Thursday sessions merely five years. That's barely any time for people to get used to the pattern. ;)

Don't ask here if you can come along
There are threads in the manchester forums - one for each day of training with a title like "Saturday, 4th June", chat to us in the thread for the day you are coming along to (If there isn't a thread for that day, make one - don't reuse one from another day).
You don't need to ask, anyone is welcome
(though we won't be so impressed if you are drunk or vandalise things)

Thanks Luke :) I think the phrase should be 'Anyone who wants to train and improve their abilities is welcome'.

And these are every week, they don't fluctuate or sometimes randomly not be there? It doesn't exactly say.. I don't wanna show up and make an ass of myself

I've been wanting to get into Parkour for some time now but never was able to find any groups for it, so I'm glad I stumbled across you guys :D

Also what exactly do you mean by "strength training & conditioning"?

The strength training and conditioning is the essential supplemental training which helps to prepare the body for the rigours of parkour. This is done through a wide variety of bodyweight exercises, which can be tailored to suit the individual. So, no matter what level a practitioner is at, they're always doing something which pushes their own abilities. The conditioning sessions take place on tuesday evenings, and are hard work, but also good fun, and highly beneficial too :)

they go on for pretty much all day, but you can arrive and leave at whatever time suits you, some people leave early, some arrive late etc...
