Might do, elastic muscles and tendons will stop you getting injured at the very least.

Hello,

I've been thinking about new sports I can try out and I think parkour would really help me in an all round sense. I can make Thurs+Saturday, probably not tuesday though. How much experience would I need to start?

Absolutely none. Like, none whatsoever. If you've already ran, then that's more experience than i started with.

It's up to you. We train whether it's dark or not. There are plenty of illuminated areas to train. If you'd prefer to wait for light evenings, then that's your choice. We'll still be the same people, irrespective of whether it's light or dark ;)

I think I'm going to come down this Saturday for the first time. I'll be getting the met into town (from Timperley) could I meet someone at the met stop? Since I'm not sure whereabouts it is to be honest!

hey :) im really interested in parkour and did gymnastics for numerous years...but now i think i can finally start trying it since exams are nearly over, but i have a couple of questions, sorry if this is in the wrong thread. im still trying to navigate the site..
~whats the average age of people training here? (im 17 in september)
~whats the average standard? like i said ive never done actual parkour bar a few combo jumps here and there, but i did gymnastics.
~the seriously pathetic thing...i play rugby for Ireland so i have to weigh a lot for that, im 16 stone, thats not an issue for me, im fit and have a lot of strength from it..also means i can take a beating XD

Thanks, Dan

Hey I'm Sam, I've wanted to getting involved with parkour for a while now. I'm 17 male and live in Macclesfield, its about 15-20mins away from Manchester by train, so its not problem me getting down there, just wanted to know if you're still carrying on with all the parkour training sessions etc because I could love to get involved with you guys. A reply would be great thanks.

Hey there, are there any kind of particular clothes or footwear we should be wearing?
I'll come in trainers, but, just out of curiosity... is it possible to do parkour in crocs? XD

Can someone PM me their phone number so I can find you all next time, or figure something out.
