Any help with this would be much appreciated ^_^

Perfect! I've been trawling the forums looking for useful hints and stuff to get started with, and le map is awesome :D It even goes down to street view level (accurately) so we can *see* exactly which spot you found best to practise all over!! Nice work :D

Not a problem. There is a link in the general information topic, but I think I'll sticky this topic as well. The map is still a work in progress, and I keep making minor adjustments from time to time. Feel free to post any suggestions for it in this thread.

Hey, I know I know this is a video, but apart from the Chapel (very googlable) and the Minster area, does anyone know where any of the other spots are in this? The things these guys do on them look awesome (whether I am ready to try them or not I'll only know when I see them :P).

PS Rowntree Park (South Bank) has a great wall, and a mini raised bit (bandstand maybe?) which are both good practise I found last night. Not to mention all the kids' equipment in the actual park... if you can find it quiet enough =P

That video looks like it was shot in Cambridge to me, not York I'm afraid.

Hmm... Maybe it pays to look closely to save myself from a fall! St John Fisher != St John as of York St John Uni building, that was the link I saw - apart from having YT'd york parkour :) Nvm, ttfn.

OK been around a lil, not sure if this one is on the map or not (there is a wall near that's marked, but it doesn't look like the one I'm thinking of). There's a wall at the back of St Leonard's Place car park, with a square window-like hole in it. Lots can be done, though I'm just scratching the surface of it :)
Plus, bordering the park near the York racecourse there's a wall from the road (above) down to the park. The park gently slopes, where the wall stays at the same height; and below is mostly just grass (with some sets of steps to try more precision jumps on also). So, you can practise techniques at any height you feel comfortable at, and push yourself only a little higher each time if you wish.

Hey, not been ignoring you... Just don't know - the vid is nothing to do with me, and apparently may have been shot in Cambridge (thanks Drew!) :P So, I don't really have anything constructive to add to the Training Map post. Mod pls delete :)
